Senior Auditor - Business & Processes*

Are you passionate about Corporate Banking,  enjoy diving deep into processes, systems, and projects to identify risks and improvement opportunities? Then join BAWAG’s Business & Processes team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements with a particular focus on Corporate Banking or participate as a member of audit teams, while also contributing to projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Assess compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system.
  • Develop recommendations and remediation measures to prevent future deficiencies and enhance business processes, including the validation and closure of completed corrective actions.
  • Provide support and guidance in response to inquiries from branch networks and central functions.

 

Your Profile

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Professional audit certification (e.g., CIA, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Auditor, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Several years of experience in banking and/or internal audit, including sound knowledge of banking-specific regulations and legal requirements.
  • Strong expertise in products and processes within the domestic and international Corporate Banking segment.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, DIR, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Excellent command of English and a collaborative, team-oriented working style.
