Auditor - Finance, Regulatory & Compliance*

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently lead and execute audit engagements across the Group, with a focus on banking regulation and finance.
  • Analyze and assess business processes, identifying control weaknesses and evaluating compliance, efficiency, and risk exposure.
  • Prepare and present audit reports and monitor the timely implementation of agreed remediation measures.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, assess their potential impact on the Group, and incorporate relevant considerations into ongoing audit activities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on regulatory topics for Internal Audit, management, subsidiaries, and business units.
  • Support strategic initiatives and Group-wide M&A activities from an Internal Audit perspective.

 

 

Your Profile

  • University degree in a relevant field, ideally with a focus on Accounting, Auditing, Banking Regulation, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional experience, preferably within a Big Four/professional services firm, consulting environment, or the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of the banking business model and banking operations.
  • Sound knowledge of current banking regulatory frameworks and topics (e.g., CRR, BWG, CSRD, PfandBG, SECR, BaSAG) and/or solid accounting expertise (UGB and IFRS).
  • Experience in areas such as ESG, Covered Bonds (PfandBG), Securitization, Recovery Planning, or Resolution Planning is considered an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, DIR, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Excellent command of English and a collaborative, team-oriented working style.
