Your Responsibilities
- Analysis, classification, and prioritization of security-relevant events and alerts from various sources (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NIDS)
- Implementation and coordination of incident response measures according to established playbooks and best practices
- Operational use and further development of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, NIDS/NIPS, CSPM, etc.
- Technical point of contact for security-relevant questions within the company
- Proactive threat hunting to identify potential risks
- Development and continuous optimization of detection mechanisms (Detection Engineering)
- Participation in 24/7 SOC on-call duty as part of a rotating shift system
Your Profile
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructures, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.), and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Solid knowledge in the analysis of log data, network traffic, and security-relevant artifacts
- Strong interest in current threat scenarios, attack techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and modern security technologies
- Structured, analytical working method combined with high problem-solving competence
- Confident use of English in technical documentation and communication
- Teamwork skills, self-initiative, and strong communication skills
- Completed training or relevant certifications in the field of computer science / IT security is an advantage
- Several years of practical experience in the field of IT security, ideally in a SOC or incident response environment

For this position, the collective agreement stipulates a minimum annual gross salary of € 47.255,60 on a full-time basis. Depending on your experience and qualifications, we are willing to offer a higher salary.
