Role Purpose
Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and shape strategic direction. The role translates business strategy into numbers and ensures financial implications are understood early in the decision cycle. It combines forward‑looking analysis, planning & forecasting, and executive storytelling with active contribution to strategic initiatives—from growth priorities to cost transformation—anchoring FP’s ambition to deliver value‑added services.
Key Responsibilities
1) Planning, forecasting & scenarios
- Lead driver‑based planning, rolling forecasts, and sensitivities in collaboration with Global FP&A.
- Use and refine FP’s planning toolchain
- Contribute to stress testing/ICAAP–ILAAP inputs in partnership with Risk/FP owners.
2) Methodology & Data
- Govern data management standards, including database maintenance, ownership, and data quality.
- Maintain mapping and segmentation frameworks for consistent attribution across FP datasets.
- Define and enhance FTP constructs and allocation methodologies for financial steering.
3) Reporting, insight & storytelling
- Translate complex financials into clear stories and decision options; propose actionable levers.
- Support management reviews and Board‑level materials with concise bridges and forward views.
4) Change, innovation & ways of working
- Contribute to FP’s value‑creation roadmap: reporting rationalization and further enhancement of business reviews, AI adoption, and process automation.
- Promote a customer‑of‑finance mindset and co‑design the team “book of work”.
5) Strategic contribution & decision support
- Act as a strategic finance advisor: challenge and co‑create business strategies, ensuring alignment with financial targets and capital/resource constraints.
- Provide financial impact assessments for strategic options (e.g., market entry, product launches, digital investments) and support business cases with clear payback logic.
- Partner with senior stakeholders during strategic planning cycles to embed driver‑based assumptions and scenario thinking into the Group’s strategy.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Preferred Banking/Finance expertise with strong grasp of P&L drivers and profitability KPIs.
- Experience in FP&A / Business Finance / Strategy / Controlling (banking or financial services).
- Proven executive presentation and storytelling skills.
- Hands‑on planning & forecasting experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Business partnering: strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strategic thinking: ability to link market trends and internal performance to shape strategic choices and quantify financial implications.
- Analytical depth: driver‑based models, scenario analysis, and granular P&L understanding.
- Communication: sharp synthesis, C‑level slides, and succinct recommendations.
- Data & tools: advanced Excel/PowerPoint; familiarity/prior experience with planning systems and data query and visualization (Pythong/R, Power BI)
- Change & innovation: openness to AI‑assisted analytics and process improvement.

For this position, the collective agreement stipulates a minimum annual gross salary of € 55.593,16 on a full-time basis. Depending on your experience and qualifications, we are willing to offer a higher salary.
